METROPLEX SENIOR SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION-MINUTES Nov 19, 2024 Tom Athens, President, called the meeting to order at 11:05a.m. All attendees recited the Lord’s Prayer. All attendees said the Pledge of Allegiance. Tom Athens led a roll call for teams that were in attendance.   There was a motion and a second to approve the March 19, 2024 minutes. The motion passed Mike McGlothin, Treasurer, gave the Treasurer’s report at the February 22 meeting   Ending Balance from 2/22/24 was $4,010.87. Deposits were $23,333.97 and Expenses were $8,626.34. After expenses, the ending balance is $8,810.50.  There was a motion and a second to approve the report....

2024 MSCSA Golf Tournament Results The 12th Annual MSCSA Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, October 16th at the Prairie Lakes Golf Club.  This year 66 golfers participated.  This is the third largest number of golfers we have had.  The weather was great and all golfers seemed to enjoy themselves. MSCSA Calendar August 27th thru Oct 31st, 2024:  MSCSA Fall Season October 16th:  MSCSA Annual Golf Tournament, Prairie Lakes Golf Course, Grand Prairie Nov 19, 2024:   End of Season Coaches Meeting. Tuesday, 11:00am, Knights of Columbus Event Center, Arlington 2024 MSCSA Changes  Commit Line has bee changed from 20 feet from home plate to 30 feet from home plate to reflect 2024 SSUSA rule change. League standings will no longer be divided into halves.  One single season that includes the spring and summer leagues. Spring season: April 2, 2024 thru June 27, 2024.
