First and foremost, I want to thank Jesus Christ for giving me a body to play sports, most of my life. And for Dan Duncan asking me to give my testimonial. I started playing Senior Softball in 1992 with the Fort Worth Senior Cats. There I met many new life long friends like Cecil Mull, Doug Stewart, Nick Amman, Al Mays, Al Anisowicz, Frank Adams, Troy Womack, and many others, too many to mention by name. The friends I have made are great men, as well as, great soft ball players. We have played in tournaments in several states and once went to the Senior World Series. I am now 87 years old, still enjoying the game, as much as ever and continuing to make new friends to enjoy playing this game I love. I would like to thank my wife Betty Ann for her supporting me all these years. I love you Betty! Come try it out, those of you thinking about joining a team! I would highly recommend this sport as a way to meet new friends and have lots of good camaraderie .

I have always enjoyed playing softball most of my adult life, but as I got older it became hard to compete with players half my age. I joined MSCSA softball four years ago. Since then, I have developed many new friendships not to mention being able to play in an organized league with other seniors twice a week.
