Results of 14th Annual MSCSA Golf Tournament

We had a great day of golf on Oct 8th for our 14th Annual Golf Tournament.  15 teams of golfers participated in the scramble at the Prairie Lakes Golf Course in Grand Prairie.  Here are the results:

1st Place:  Arlington Greyhounds/ Mid Cities Flyers with a team score of 55.  Team Members: Mike Sinha, Bob Stimson, Bob Sunde and Bill Perron.

2nd Place:  Flores #1  with a team score of 58.  Team Members: Carlos Flores, Pete Szakin, Rick Balla, and Bob Van-Til

3rd Place:  Grand Prairie Cubs with a team score of 58.  Team Members:  David Lockhart, Gary Cochran, Mike Syring, and Bob Sebastian

 

Longest Drive Winner (Under 70) – Tony Maldonado  (Mesquite BG Generals)

Longest Drive Winner (70 and Over) – Mike Sinha  (Arlington Greyhounds/Mid Cities Flyers)

Closest To The Pin (Under 70) – Jesse Ortega 

Closest To The Pin (70 and Over)  – Larry Goad ( Arlington Mustangs)

2025 MSCSA Golf Tournament Wednesday (October 8th)

The 14th Annual MSCSA Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Prairie Lakes Golf Club in Grand Prairie.  Prairie Lakes worked with us and again did not increase our greens fees.  I am negotiating  with Crown’s Barbecue at the golf course to see if they will work with us on a meal for golfers.   I will update this tab as things progress.  We had 66 golfers last year and hoping for just  as many or even more.  Please pass the word to your golfing buds and family.

Rules and Regulations of Tournament Contract

  • The tournament organizers, participants, and anyone associated with the tournament will not hold Prairie Lakes G.C. nor the City of Grand Prairie accountable for any accident on the day of the event.
  • Confirmation date is required no later than 7 days prior to the tournament. Exact number will be required and the tournament will be responsible for the confirmation of players.
  • ALL FEES associated with the tournament will be due DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT.
  • No five-somes will be allowed.
  • All tournament food and beverage must be through Crown’s BBQ of Prairie Lakes G.C.
  • NO OUTSIDE COOLERS WILL BE ALLOWED.
  • Dress code will be enforced (no sleeveless shirts, cut-offs, or metal spikes allowed).
  • Golf carts are mandatory for all participants in the tournament.
  • All golf course signage is the responsibility of the tournament to put onto the golf course, and pick up after the tournament.
